Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed more times than an Air India flight but hope is that December 10 will be the final launch date of the much-awaited action RPG from CD Projekt Red. The game does look to one of the most ambitious gamers ever from all the footage that has been revealed, but we will only know the true depth of the game once we get our hands on it. Another piece of news that has recently been announced is that the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 will be revealed after the launch of the game.
The info was shared by CD Projekt Red President, Adam Kiciński during a recent this-quarter earnings call. We also found out that CD Projekt Red had planned on announcing the DLC before the launch of the game but had to hold off on making the announcement because of the delay. Kiciński said, “We decided to wait for the release to provide gamers with the game and then start talking about future projects,” said Kiciński. We’ll share our thoughts about [it] next year once we will update our strategy. It will happen in Q1 next year, and that will be after releasing Cyberpunk and that will be the right moment to discuss deeper or all key aspects around future releases.”, when commenting about the game’s multiplayer component.
From what we’ve read of the earnings call, CD Projekt intends to stick to the December 10 release date with no further delays rocking the boat. The much -awaited game released on December 10 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia.
