Poco C3, Realme C11, Redmi 8A Dual: Smartphones available for less than Rs 8,000 (November 2020)

You will not find very strong smartphones under 8,000 rupees, but in this range in the past, there have been some smartphones launched that can handle your daily tasks comfortably. Although many smartphones were included in this segment earlier, but due to the increase in GST rate in the last few months, many smartphone prices have seen a surge. However, mobile phone seekers priced below Rs 8,000 still need not be disappointed. Poco C3, Redmi 8A Dual and Realme C11 are smartphones that will give you good value according to the price. Let us know that all these three smartphones have gone through the tests of Gadgets 360 and they have got better score than other mobile phones coming in under Rs 8,000. So let’s look at the best smartphones that come under 8 thousand without delay.

Poco C3

The Poco C3 is a recent entry in this segment. Although this phone did not perform well in most of our tests, but it impressed us a lot in terms of battery life. The Poco C3 comes with a 5,000mAh battery, which lasted for about two days in daily use. It takes a long time to charge, but given the great battery life, you might not need to charge it every day. The Poco C3 is quite slim and well built. The display is large, however, as the maximum brightness is reduced, there is little difficulty in using it under direct sunlight.
The Poco C3 performs well and the good thing is that its base variant comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, which is priced at Rs 7,499. There is also a 4 GB variant, which offers 64 GB of storage, which costs 8,999 rupees, but it is not the best value in our opinion.

The MIUI 12 software does not currently show advertisements on the Poco C3, which is very good news and given its price, its performance is also good. You get three rear cameras which, on average, work well, provided you use the sensor in sufficient light.

Realme c11

Realme C11 is a good alternative to Poco C3, as it shares many of its features. The main attraction of this phone is the large display and long battery life. Reality C11 is well built. The 5,000mAh battery gives excellent battery life, which can easily take out your many days before needing a charge.

Reality C11 is available only in 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The low amount of RAM makes Reality’s custom skin dull. If you are shooting in low light, the cameras do an average job. Like Poco C3, Realme C11 lacks fingerprint sensor, but you get face unlock. Despite the average performance, it is still a decent phone at this price.

Redmi 8A Dual

The Redmi 8A Dual is well designed and its build quality is also quite good. This phone comes with a 6.22-inch HD + display, with a waterdrop style notch. At this price, the Redmi 8A Dual has a USB Type-C port, which is not available in other competing smartphones. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset is available in the smartphone. Xiaomi sells two variants of the device, one with 2 GB of RAM and the other with 3 GB. Both have 32 GB of storage which users can increase via microSD card. The phone comes with dual rear camera setup, which is average and can take some good pictures during the day.

Redmi has given a 5,000mAh battery in this smartphone, which comes with 18W fast charging support. However, a charger with standard charging output is available in its box. You have to buy the fast charger separately. The price of the phone starts at Rs 6,999.
