Design of realme 2
Like Realme 1, Reality 2 has a fiberglass body. The glossy diamond-cut design has been given on the back panel of the handset. There are 15 tangent plane curves on the back of the smartphone, which reflect the light differently. Due to being fiberglass, scratches and fingerprints easily fall on the back panel. There is a notch display on the front panel, the border of Realme 2 is much thinner than the counter-handsets present in the market. There is no fingerprint sensor on the back panel for security in Realme 1. Face recognition technology has been used in this handset. After feedback from customers, the company has added the fingerprint sensor to Realme 2. The sad thing is that the fingerprint sensor present in Realme 2 works slowly and for the first time we had a problem in registering the fingerprint. Like Realme 1, face recognition is also available in Realme 2, it works accurately but in low light it is not as effective.
On the left side of Realme 2, there is a button and SIM tray to increase and decrease the voice. If you want, you can install two Nano SIMs and a MicroSD card. The power button is given on the right side of the phone. The button is very small but at the same time it is also very hard, due to which you may have some difficulty in pressing it. Realme 2 performance, software and battery life
Reality 2 is capable of watching videos on YouTube, photographing, web browsing and using social media applications easily. While playing Asphalt 9, a number of frame drops occurred. One good thing in this phone is that it does not get hot. During the review, we found that the phone slows down a bit when multitasking in Realme 2. The benchmark score is the average. Realme 2 got 76,929 points on Antutu Benchmark Score, 5,166 points in PC Mark Work 2.0. The GFXBench quirk 3.1 has 12 frames per second and the GFXBench T-Rex has 32 frames per second. 793 was scored in single core and Realme 2 in multi core test scored 3,882.
Dual SIM Realme 2 Out of Box runs on ColorOs 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset has received the July security patch. App drawer will not be available in the smartphone, Google Now panel has been replaced with a custom screen. On the screen, you will see the temperature, how many steps you have taken, latest photos, favorite contacts. There is a need to simplify the user interface. The Settings app is quite confusing and cluttered. ColorOS is equipped with many features like dual apps, shortcuts to take screenshots with three fingers, theming apps and lockscreen gestures. Realme 2 has a battery of 4,230 MH which comes with ‘AI Power Master’. Realme 2’s battery life is much better due to the dim, low-race display and Snapdragon 450 processor. In HD video loop test, Reality 2 gave a backup of 17 hours 30 minutes. 40-50 percent of the battery was present even when the phone was used normally throughout the day. In the retail box, you will find a 10 watt standard charger of Oppo brand, which is capable of fully charging the phone in 3 hours.
Camera of realme 2
Dual rear camera setup will be available in Reality 2. The primary sensor is 13 megapixels, which comes with F / 2 / .2 aperture. The secondary camera is of 2 megapixels. On the front panel you will find an 8 megapixel selfie camera, whose incarnation is F / 2.2. Single LED flash is present on the back panel. In the camera app, you will find panoramas, time laps and 28 AR stickers. The dynamic range of the camera is quite poor. Colors are not captured correctly in a photo taken at night. The rear camera is capable of accurately clicking photos when there is enough light. The quality of the picture taken during the portrait shot is average, while the picture taken at night looked blurred.
Artificial intelligence selfie camera easily detects skin tone, skin type, age, gender. Realme claimed that their database contained 8 million beauty reference points. The front camera of Reality 2 captures well in adequate light, while the quality of the photo in low light is not as good. The sensor software in the phone is capable of capturing bokeh shots with the help of algorithms. We did not like the AI beautification feature of Realme much because it gives a watercolor-like effect in the photo. The rear and front camera of the phone can record video at 1080p.
Realme 2’s battery life, unique design, microSD card slot and build quality are quite good. The performance of the phone is fine, while the camera provides average quality in the picture. The fingerprint sensor on the back panel works at a slow speed. If you are looking for a smartphone in the same budget range, then cheaper variants of Xiaomi Redmi 5 (Review) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 are better options. The sale of the cheapest variants of Realme 1 was stopped as soon as the launch of Realme 2. Let us know that the price of this variant of Reality 1 was Rs 8,990. If you can increase your budget a little, then we would recommend you to buy cheap variants of Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. Apart from this, you can buy 4GB / 64GB variants of Realme 1.
